[ The dog looks unimpressed, but lets Loki lift her and set her on his lap so he can sit up. ]

How are you? Did not sniff any flowers recently, I hope.

[hyoscine]

Good to hear.

[She approaches slowly, moving to sit to one side of him, and gives him a slightly puzzled look before remembering the issue with the flora and shaking her head.]

Not unless you count the weeds outside the grave I woke up in, no. How about you?

[ Startled. ]

You died, too?

[ Vilhelm ignores the conversation, sniffing at Twyla instead. ]

Yeah. Didn't really... see it coming.

[She holds her hand out toward Vilhelm, fully intending to pat the dog's head if she's allowed to.]

...wait, too? What happened?

I got eaten by a dragon.

[ Loki shrugs as if it is not a big deal, hiding the fact it unnerved him much more than he had expected. ]

What happened to you?

[ Vilhelm accepts the attention, seeming to settle down. ]

...ouch. Hope it was quick.

[Scratching idly at Vilhelm's head, she shrugs as well, not quite looking at him.]

Wound up on the wrong side of a knife during that thing with the paranoia-grapes. I really do have to do something about being so easy to stab.

Very quick. And wet. Kinda disgusting.

[ And terrifying. ]

You need to get better about that. Wear some armor or something under your dress.

Sounds like it might be.

[She can imagine.]

Hey, it's not like I can make a stop at the nearest armorer- 'hey, I need something that can stop blades, maybe in a nice smoky purple?'

I do know someone who is quite good at manipulating metal. We can always change the color.

...you would know someone who can do that. I don't really think I'm built for plate armor though.

You could get some pretty chainmail!

[A thoughtful hum, and she shrugs.]

His name is Erik Lehnsherr. He lives in the Mansion in the woods. You can tell him you know Loki the younger and much cuter.

[She flushes a little at that, bumping her shoulder against his.]

[ Loki gives her a playful wink. ]

Oh? And you're not sharing? [She shakes her head in mock disappointment.] For shame, Loki.

[ His voice raises in octave as he shifts from male to female, giving her a teasing smile. ]

[hyoscine]

[A pause and then with droll flatness-]

...okay that's just not fair that you get to be attractive no matter what you turn into.

[hashtagging]

[ Loki let out a bark of laughter. ]

I could be ugly if I really wanted to, but it is not nearly as fun.

[hyoscine]

[She rolls her eyes at him a little, amused.]

No, I would imagine being attractive all the time does make life a lot easier.
